Women in Business Networking
presents
"25 Women to Watch in 2010" Leah Hawthorn, 2010 Women to Watch Recipient
You may be asking how these "watchables" are chosen.
An incredible amount of research goes into this list, many candidates are considered from
all professions, finance, politics, law, the arts, education, science, entrepreneurs, non-profits,
community volunteers. Acquaintances, news and networking opportunities from all over the Miami Valley
area have helped collect information about our notables; anywhere local news is made.
This year the majority of the "25 Women to Watch
2009" have nominated candidates for WiBN's 2010 watchables.
Others were chosen by WiBN's "Watch Committee" A special thank you to Tina Marker
and Debra Ghysels.
WiBN's watchable women are making a difference in our community, women being noted
for their leadership, community service and professional achievements.
The notable list of our candidates are exceptional women, respected in her field,
and are causing more than a ripple in the public arena. Some may be on TV, some on the hot seat; they
legislate, articulate and congregate. To them we
say: Go ahead and do what you do, we've got our eyes on you!
